It’s time for a virtual New Year’s Eve party!

That’s right, it’s open house over at On The Homefront‘s place for a virtual New Year’s Eve party; everyone’s invited! I agreed to sing a song at the party with my other half, Neil, which is linked to over there, but I thought I’d post it here as well to give you a taste of the party…

Now why not pop over there and join in the fun. Add your own entertainment into the comments there on the party post, or leave some positive thoughts and resolutions, or whatever you like really!

And Happy New Year everybody!

  9. Well, that was a lot of fun! What a great, catchy tune! Did you or Neil write the song? It ought to be a hit!

    • Thank you, but no – if you go onto YouTube and search ‘Ted Hawkins Happy Hour’ you can hear the original which is way better than our version! I saw Ted Hawkins live in London in the late 80s and I liked that song so much that it stuck in my mind for all those years!

    • Thanks Lorna. It’s ok, as I lived in the States for a few years, I’m perfectly used to people mistakenly thinking I’m the one with an accent πŸ˜‰ Well, we’ve both seen each other live and in action now, I think that makes it a successful new year all round!

  17. Loved your song. I will not post a video of me singing (because then I would be unfollowed immediately by lots and lots of people who lost their hearing.) I’m glad you don’t have to worry about that (just your finger; did you bang it into the guitar?).

  18. Vanessa,
You know that video I was referring to on my post? That’s the one, in case you didn’t know, you know, cause I might have been unclear, you know. You know?
